Well things are settling down here in Bathurst, Lectures, Labs, Pracs and Tutorials have started at uni and so far I seem to be manageing alright.

I cant actually remember what I ranted about last time and quite frankly I cannot be bothered to check, so I may well be about to repeat myself.

Last saturday I went to Central West Multiplayer, the local lan out here, it was ok, their method of file sharing was a bit odd, everyone ran FTP servers and some FTP search program tool thingy, oh well whatever works for them I suppose.

To be honest I probably played as much games there as I do at a BONG lan, which is kindof sad considering there was only like 20 people, PICK IT UP YOU BONG n00bs, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD Pr0n ALL WEEK LONG ON YOUR DSL.

The guy I'm staying with had his gas cut off yesterday, which I was somewhat distressed about initially, but AGL's attempt to cut off the gas was limited to closing the tap in front of the meter, to which my host declared "I've payed my bill screw them" and proceeded to turn it back on again immediatley after the contractor left. I'm not sure what the long term reprocussions of this action might be, but its his problem not mine.

The Student Association out here has declared and insisted that they are not aligned or affiliated with any political groups, and yet I am having trouble believing them, given that they couldnt even make it past our welcoming ceremony without giving a commentary on the evils of the Howard Government. I can see myself getting into trouble, I cant resist the urge to stick my nose into political discussions, and since leadership of student organisations tends to be particularly drawn from the Left, frequently Labor or greens supporters, and I'm a strong member of the Liberal party, my views are frequently less than welcome. Oh well I couldnt care less what they think, damn Hippies!
