Sea Turtle Slaughter and Random Acts or Cruelty
Posted 8:24:55 AM on Thu, 13th April 2006 by Taliskahn Image #30

Having recently taking up SCUBA diving in the last 6 months and getting involved in various diving communities in NSW, I have also developed a greater interest in marine life.  This, plus my general feelings towards animal cruelty and exploitation makes me quite furious when I see articles about Japanese whaling and other attrocities like this one:

You know, for a VERY third world country, Africa is way ahead in it's poaching management schemes. The shoot and kill on sight method of dealing with these 'animals' is the way of the future and i think its time more of the world adopted it.

Some people may be thinking "thats a bit harsh, they ARE just animals after all and you can't place the life of an animal above that of a human".  Well I'm happy to put the lives of animals above these "humans".  I think the world would be a better place with these animals still in it and these particular "humans" NOT in it.

I think simply the ability to commit such cruel attrocities is beyond what it is to be human. Being able to comprehend and have compassion for suffering is what separates humans from animals... clearly these "people" belong to the latter and should be dealt with as we do any other vermin that feeds like a parasite attached to the ass of the world.
